This week also features Jade Imagine in The Tote front bar, Ross Elliott at Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar, Nuclear Assault at Max Watt's, Birdstriking at The Tote and the Baudelaires, Jules McKenzie and White+ sets at The Old Bar.

Dive bars, legendary bands, massive backlighting and breaking stuff … welcome to week 48 of my 366 Day Project! This week features Money For Rope at Tago Mago, the mighty Dinosaur Jr at The Croxton Bandroom, Sliverlight Shadows at Cherry Bar, Puscifer at The Plenary, Magnetix at The Evelyn Hotel and Acolyte at The Workers Club. Odio played one of the best gigs I've been to in ages for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club … punters flew, staged dived and played the bands instruments, equipment was broken, and the pub … I'm amazed it's still standing!

Good mates, new faves and chilled out Sundays, Week 47 of my 366 Day Project delivered a great mix of vibes and music. Highlights for the week were Enzyme and Uptown Ace sets at Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar and Teeth And Tongue for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club. Also featured in Week 47 are We Lost The Sea at Northcote Social Club, Religious Observance at The Bendigo, Kimba for a relaxing Sunday arvo of jazz at The Fitzroy Pinnacle and The Berkley Hunts at The Old Bar.

December was a weird month, throwing up many challenges, both in finding gigs and personally. That being said, it's great to have life back to something that resemble normality.

Week 46 of The Project delivered across the board and features an amazing array of bands with Tyrannamen at Shimmerlands for Shadow Electric at Melbourne University and Gold Class at NGV for Friday Nights at NGV. The pubs and dive bars did not disappoint with grindcore from Shitwreck at The Brunswick Hotel, solo folk artist David Grimson at Whole Lotta Love, the amazing Gregory Page at The Old Bar and Ashley Naylor and friends at Cherry Bar. Passengers on the 86 were treated to a random acoustic guitar performance, while the final night of Week 46 found me all but stumbling into Samba Night at the Queen Victoria Night Market.

December was a trip and gigs were few and far between. That being said, there was still something on each night of the week. I spent NYE with friends to catching local legends Me-Graines and the mighty Hits. Week 45 of my 365 Day Project also features White Lightening and Frankenbok gigs at Cherry Bar, Puffer in The Tote bandroom, Public High at The Old Bar, Rogue Wavs at Howler and Don Bosco in The Tote front bar. I hope you all had a great festive season and new year's eve, spending with people you like doing things you wanted to do. Happy New Year friends!

This week was a big one with 20 December marking Day 300 of my 365 Day Project! Despite the world being in the throws of pre-Christmas madness, the live music scene, albeit somewhat subdued, held its ground. Week 43 features Keggin and Spacejunk sets at Last Chance Bar, humour and Sex Falcons with DJ Purple Duck at Yah Yah's, the brilliance of Howl At The Moon at The Old Bar, Cool Sounds for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club, improv gold with the Make It Up Club at Bar Open, and Reuben Stone performing amidst the madness of Christmas shopping and general mayhem of the Bourke St Mall.
