Birthdays, record stores, legends and old mates … Week 42 of my 365 Day Project dished up a slew of amazing bands and even more good times, kicking things off with Dorsal Fins playing an in-store at Oh Jean Records in Fitzroy. What an amazing band. Day 290 I got to catch up with an old mate and see her band The Mis-Made at The Evelyn Hotel. My birthday, 13 December, was spent at The Tote to see Fred and Toody (Dead Moon) play an incredible set. Week 42 also includes Grudge at Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar in North Melbourne, Miss Hellcat and Reel Tapes sets at The Old Bar and The Teskey Brothers for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club.
