Bowness Photography Prize 2025 Finalist Exhibition
GROUP EXHIBITION
The Museum of Australian Photography is delighted to present the 2025 William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize exhibition. Judging panel Anne Zahalka, Shaune Lakin and Anouska Phizacklea considered over 750 entries, selecting 50 works to comprise the final field.
Being of Light
SOLO EXHIBITION
"Being of Light" is an exhibition focused on community engagement, featuring a diverse collection of framed, unframed, and interactive handmade analogue photographic works on paper. The exhibition highlights the striking diversity and rejuvenating beauty of Melbourne’s inner-city waterways and parklands, emphasising how the urban landscape fosters inclusivity and creativity in Fitzroy and its surrounding suburbs.
Paradox
This exhibition delves into the interplay of fear, trust and hope through a collection of handcrafted analogue photographic works on paper. It offers an alternative view of the dynamic relationship between body and mind, creativity and everyday life experiences.
