Shit's getting real

Day 290/366

My 13-year-old daughter is watching YouTube. She likes TWENTY ØNE PILØTS (which isn't a bad thing) and sits for hours switching between music videos and Ru Paul's Drag Race.

It's warm in here. I've spent the day at work bouncing between Christmas shoppers with more money than sense and time-wasting tyre-kickers. It's a good job. I like it ... today anyway. Bob is curled up next to Daughter on the couch. After ripping last nights photos I'm back out the door ... time to shoot a show.

Today is day 290 of my project. Shit is getting super real, and time ... I don't know how to describe time other than it's surreal. As for the project, with only 75 days to go until “stage one” is done, I am incredibly grateful and humbled by the mass of support and shared excitement from friends and from people I have never met. Do I look back on my initial decision and ask "why?”. Not on your life! This is hands down the most amazing thing I have ever done. What a ride.
