Baldessin Studio and Australian Galleries are proud to announce “Baldessin Studio – The Legacy". Comprising two curated exhibitions, the event celebrates the work and influence of George Baldessin (1939-1978). First, the main gallery features a newly curated look at George Baldessin prints, drawings and sculptures from the 1970s, many of which have rarely been seen in any gallery. Simultaneously showing in the Australian Galleries showroom is an exhibit comprising 29 Baldessin Press Studio printmakers/resident artists – including Andrew Browne, Brent Harris, Martin King, August Carpenter, and Zo Damage presenting works created on the Baldessin presses in celebration of the studio's 21st anniversary.
