Bodies installation

During my first semester in the MFA at RMIT back in 2022, I began experimenting with various photography styles and equipment with the aim of pulling me out of a creative funk and discover my "fine art" voice. While I captured an obscene number of photographs, I became fascinated by the diverse cameras I used in this exploration. This fascination led me to create an installation/exhibition of these rigs for my first assignment submission. Although I ultimately chose not to continue working with most of the equipment, reflecting on this process provided me with profound insights into the incredible depth and versatility of photography, especially in relation to non-representational abstract art. What followed was the beginning of exapanding on my already experimental analogue photographic practice, and I am pleased to say I have not looked back since.
