A beautiful song

Facing the first wave of Covid-19 constraints and restrictions was a particularly challenging time. I sought ways to reinvent and redefine myself. To deconstruct, reconstruct and connect physically and emotionally with the inaccessible through the lens. “A beautiful song” is from Invent Define Destruct. The series comprises abstract photographs (35mm and 4x5 large format) of the facades of Melbourne live music venues. Created at the beginning of Melbourne Lockdown 2 in 2020, the series pays homage to live music community and culture.
