Making friends
I took the Tachihara 4x5 field camera out on my daily walk. Melbourne was putting her best foot forward, delivering a perfect spring afternoon. While out, I made friends with these fine women. After a friendly chat (they were willing to sit for me, and I expressed my gratitude), I headed to the park next to the Royal Children’s Hospital before going home. While giving the negatives a final rinse, my daughter came out of her room, “Have you heard the news?”. Short answer, no. I grabbed the laptop and put it on the kitchen bench, so I could watch while wrapping up developing my negatives for the day.
