Week 50 delivered across the board with Christian Meaas Svendsen from Norway playing an inprov-session at Uptown Jazz Cafe, The Hard-Ons for Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar first birthday bash (happy birthday Shane and Leanne) Wet Lips and Shrimpwitch for Wet Fest III at The Tote, Southern Stars at Cherry Bar, Ogopogo for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club, RVIVR at The Old Bar and Cash Savage And The Last Drinks playing a brilliant set for PBS Drive Live 2017.

Dive bars, legendary bands, massive backlighting and breaking stuff … welcome to week 48 of my 366 Day Project! This week features Money For Rope at Tago Mago, the mighty Dinosaur Jr at The Croxton Bandroom, Sliverlight Shadows at Cherry Bar, Puscifer at The Plenary, Magnetix at The Evelyn Hotel and Acolyte at The Workers Club. Odio played one of the best gigs I've been to in ages for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club … punters flew, staged dived and played the bands instruments, equipment was broken, and the pub … I'm amazed it's still standing!

December was a weird month, throwing up many challenges, both in finding gigs and personally. That being said, it's great to have life back to something that resemble normality.

Week 46 of The Project delivered across the board and features an amazing array of bands with Tyrannamen at Shimmerlands for Shadow Electric at Melbourne University and Gold Class at NGV for Friday Nights at NGV. The pubs and dive bars did not disappoint with grindcore from Shitwreck at The Brunswick Hotel, solo folk artist David Grimson at Whole Lotta Love, the amazing Gregory Page at The Old Bar and Ashley Naylor and friends at Cherry Bar. Passengers on the 86 were treated to a random acoustic guitar performance, while the final night of Week 46 found me all but stumbling into Samba Night at the Queen Victoria Night Market.

December was a trip and gigs were few and far between. That being said, there was still something on each night of the week. I spent NYE with friends to catching local legends Me-Graines and the mighty Hits. Week 45 of my 365 Day Project also features White Lightening and Frankenbok gigs at Cherry Bar, Puffer in The Tote bandroom, Public High at The Old Bar, Rogue Wavs at Howler and Don Bosco in The Tote front bar. I hope you all had a great festive season and new year's eve, spending with people you like doing things you wanted to do. Happy New Year friends!

Week 44 of my 365 Day Project features Dusty Ravens at The Retreat, Even for the Even Christmas Party at The Corner, Jurassic Nark at The Tote, soul jams at The Curtin, an epic house party in Northcote Toga Rock, Fuck The Fitzroy Doom Scene at Ding Dong Lounge, Her Majesty's Hangover at The Old Bar and Draught Dodgers for the Cherry Awards at Cherry Bar. It is now 9.30pm on New Year's Eve … time to head to a gig! All the very best for 2017 folks and thanks for your rad support over this year. You seriously rule.

Week 38 of my 365 Day Project includes Tash Sultana at 170 Russell, The Ocean Party at Northcote Social Club, The Drones at Melbourne Town Hall, Nun of the Tongue in Cobra Bar at The Tote, Mt Mountain at The Old Bar, and highlights from A Day On The Green including The Meanies, Spiderbait and Jebediah. Week 31 of my 365 day live music photography project was pretty uneventful compared to the past couple of weeks. There was a lot of great music and gigs, I did not get stranded anywhere, and, there were no insect in my jeans episodes which was a relief. This week just ticked along nicely.

It's not often that I am lucky enough to discover a number of project highlight bands in one week let alone two! With Two Headed Dog being added to the list of project highlight bands in Week 26, followed by my being blown out by Thug Mills, DARKNIFE and Warped in this round of gigs there is no doubt I was a very happy photographer. Week 27 was a good one.

This week was a big one with El Riot Fest seeing all three stages at The Tote serving up a slew of great underground and emerging bands from the heavy scene including Coffin Wolf, Wolf Pack, Sistema En Decadencia, Stay Sharp, Los Amigos, The FckUps and Geld. Also featured in Week 13 are Socially Handicapped at Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar, Merchant at Grumpy's, Kim Salmon and Annan Blix at The Old Bar, The Tim Richmond Group for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club, wrapping up the week with a second dose of Merchant, this time at Cherry Bar.

This week was a huge one for live music and includes highlights from 10th anniversary of Cherry Rock with Power, The Polish Club, Richie Ramone and Supersuckers, and, Groovin' The Moo with Illy and TWENTY ØNE PILØTS. The pubs and dive bars feature Battlesick at Revolver, La Bastard, Ohms, Shrimpwitch and Eat-Man sets at The Old Bar, ASSAD for Monday Night Mass at Northcote Social Club and Huntly at The Grace Darling.
